Following the sale of Perception Kayaks, he launched a company called Kinetixx and Perception, a boat company he formed to demonstrate the viability of online product development and creative collaboration.
Perception now hosts peer advisory forums to develop leadership and share best practices. Bill also runs Focus Forum, a peer-assisted learning and development group for CEOs and entrepreneurs.
The art and science of forum
Bill invests his time and resources in developing and mentoring high-performance entrepreneurs, using the forum concept to bring peers together for sharing innovations and solutions to problems. He’s served on the International Forum Advisory Board for both the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the World Presidents Organization (WPO). He also served as a forum officer for the YPO, managing all YPO forums in North America.
Bill’s experience with transforming Perception Kayaks into a global leader informs his views on corporate culture, process engineering and customer engagement. He emphasizes the high-intensity involvement of associates at every level of the enterprise, insisting that companies succeed when their leadership has a clear vision of the way forward and a motivated, committed workforce.
